Just wondering if someone can help me figure out how to D/L my pictures onto my laptop. Hardware issue is between my inspiron 700m and a kodak easyshare c513. I keep getting error code 105 device not recognized. Checked kodaks website and no nix drivers available. I guess this means I'm screwed as I had planned to use the laptop to store pictures of my upcoming wedding on my laptop. Weird thing is I'm able to view the thumbnails of my pictures but get a dbus error when trying to transfer the photos to the hard disk.

Well after many attempts to solve this issue and much googling on the issue I'm just gonna find another way to store my pics. Checked the bugzilla list for F-spot and found that there are to many to list. Thanks for helping me with this struggle but I know when to say enough for now. I'll try again at a later date.

Hi Daym,
I´m the one around here who asks the silly/simple questions that normally make me look like an idiot  - but hey, sometimes it helps - so here goes. ;)
Before you connected your camera to the PC, did you make sure that your camera was switched to usb/view mode and not photo or video mode? Connect the camera and turn it on. By doing this, Ultimate Edition should be able to detect it as a mobile storage device that you can browse to and copy your pictures across manually if need be (I hope). Through your menus, click on Places - Computer. Does an icon appear here for your camera? Also try to connect via cable (USB) as opposed to a cradle if you can.

Let us know if you have any joy. :D
