WiiCan, XWii, Wiimote, Movie Player HELP

Postby Jeahavee » Wed Sep 02, 2009 9:34 pm

I manage to somehow drag and drop the "file:///home/user/XWii_2.8_source/start_xwii.py " now it says

:~$ '/home/user/XWii_2.8_source/start_xwii.py'
[1] NES Pad.xwii
[2] Grid Wars.xwii
[3] RhythmBox.xwii
[4] Nunchuk N64.xwii
[5] classic_controller_p2.xwii
[6] Tilt Mouse.xwii
[7] IR Mouse.xwii
[8] toggle_ir.xwii
[9] classic_controller_p1.xwii
[10] leds.xwii
[11] Nunchuk FPS.xwii
[12] Frets On Fire.xwii
[13] XMMS-Audacious.xwii
[14] Movie Player.xwii
[15] test.xwii
[16] Nunchuk MAME.xwii
Which profile would you like to use (pick a number)? 14
./xwii "profiles/Movie Player.xwii"
Press 1 + 2 to put the Wiimote in discoverable mode.
sh: ./xwii: not found

How do I fix this so it finds sh: ./xwii: not found. Just in case someone has done this already.

Just trying to get a good way to connect a Wiimote to Linux and use it as a remote with VLC (It's the only one that play stuff right).

So I found another program (kind of) that turns the Wiimote into a mouse.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=993376

Now it works really easy, but I again need to only control Play/Pause/Stop. I guess I need a little help figuring out how to change it from a mouse to a "keyboard" or "remote". Guess I'm alone on this one :geek:

I ran into Wiican and it was the right idea, but it doesn't work at all. If only it worked then I'd be done.

...that link well the installs first step wouldn't install so I'm contacting him for more help.
