What did i convert you too OSS 4.1 or my avatar's good looks jokes
not a problem buddy cheer <BREW>

BTW i don't know where to post this because i believe it isn't worth a "how to"

To get all the new features of the new amarok 2.2 beta 1 just install the amarok nightly build using ultramatric
the features incude a video applet which searches youtube of the song you are playing and a photo app which does the same as the photo app but with photos

cheers <BREW>

Soundoff permission denied

type this
Code: Select all
sudo soundoff
then
Code: Select all
sudo soundon

Well if you must go back to pulse audio try this go to System > Administration > Software Sources, second tab, click "Add":
Code: Select all
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/themuso/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/themuso/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
add them

Go to the terminal and type this
Code: Select all
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys B88A1AA8

last but not least
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
to install

Reboot then your done :D
