I have downloaded the 2.3 64 bit and installed it and everything is working good just like every other time. <BREW> Installed with the ext4 and my computer is rocking. Haven't seen any problems yet.

Thanks Theemahn for the excellent work.

Morning everybody, at least it is here. Those of you that run Ultamatix -7 and / or Ultimate Edition 2.3+ are about to see a few updates coming off the repo, I would like to make people aware of what they are and the purpose of them.

This morning I updated all the theme packs, yes including the xmas edition. Why the change? The xmas edition did have bugs in it & the only one. I now lintian every package I make I did not do so back then. Anyway so why the change on the rest of the packages? I have re-wrote them to install the usplash, but not set it as your current usplash. Same with GDM etc.

If you install any of the theme packs now you will now have to manually set the theme, wallpaper, usplash, gdm etc. I may write a How to for Ultimate Edition users, time permitting. The reason I did this is put an end to complaints as I have seen on gnomelook. The "Beta" Theme packs will set everything, so when Ultimate Edition 2.4 theme pack is released expect that. The alpha of the theme pack is currently being internally tested.

Maybe it's time to update the Ultimate Edition 2.3 page or should I make them wait until the eve?

I either had a bad burn or a bad download, it doesn't want to install. I think I might try downloading the 32 bit and see if that is any cleaner
