i have problem trying to intall Ultimate Edition

im new on this well i try to intall Ultimate Edition witht he cd but i just have the error servidor x not config or something like that i dont knwo what to do

Hello bigsonic and welcome to the U.E Forum.

Did you formate the partition for Linux file system?
OR you have just start the installation Direct from the DVD?
Please get some time of read post here on the Forum on How to install the U.E on your machine.
You have allot of tips Guides and all that you need to know for the process of the Installation.
just use the Advance search in the up right corner of the site,and you will get your Answers.
And you welcome to use the How To section for more Knowledge on How To work with the system.

Do you have any more systems on your HDD?
If the HDD is blank just download the Parted Magic and get all the HDD formated to unallocated.
Then save the changes and start the installation from the DVD.
Parted Magic has to be burn to Disc!

Hey bigsonic

The easiest way is to use Vista's partition manager to create another partition for the unused space. You can shrink the active partition down to create the new one if you need to.

Then, simply boot from the LiveDVD and get Ultimate Edition to use the unallocated space to install Ultimate Edition.

The setup will even create a boot list for you, so you can select which OS to boot to.

Of course, if you want to ditch Visat, back up your docs etc first, then get the Partition Manager to utilise the whole disc....

Better info is available on the Forum, and also on Google, especially the shrinking of the Vista partition. Search for Ubuntu and Vista Dual Boot.

i did all that but still same error server X well it says something like this
error al iniciar el servidor X (su interfaz Grafica). Problablemente no esta configurado correctamente. Si desea ver la salida del servidor X para diagnoticar el problema?

Your Video card requires the latest driver from Nvidia which is not currently on your DVD nor is it in the current repositories. You require the 190.42 driver. This driver is available from Nvidia directly, but you have to install it manually. This does take a little bit of work but am happy to help if you have the patience. Firstly though, I need to ask some questions.
1. Which Ultimate Edition are you trying to install?
2. Is it 32 Bit or 64?
3. Can you actually boot up from the DVD into a live graphical session?
4. Does this error occur before you install or after?

I understand your difficulty with English, but please try to be as descriptive and precise as you possibly can.

4.- i cant even go to live so i cant intall it
