Get ready to grab stuff of your drive.
put the damn thing in the freezer.
I did mine for 10 mins.
Then take it out,and connect it.
Use what ever app to try to grab the data, and do it quick!!When it warms up it won't work.

Granted I did this a few years ago,and drives might have changed a bit,but you wont hurt anything to try. ;)

...and no this is not a joke!

The freezer method always seems to do the trick for me. I once had a doc file with some 200 ways to recover a hard disk ;)

im trying the freezer method now, im not gonna leave very long there (about 15 20 minutes) but that should be long enough to know if it does anything to it, if it will be accessible for long enough for the system to mount it then i know that it should work if i put in my commercial freezer overnight.

I'll keep u guys posted soon, rebooting to connect my primary hdd (using a live usb now since i tried to boot from the problematic hdd).

after i reconnect ill try -all.

Thanx a million u guys, and ill sift through that 200 ways document 2 see if i find some that i have not tried yet.
