Help & support for Ultimate Edition 2.2

archos 5&7 internet media tablet

Postby buck nekked » Sun Jul 05, 2009 4:52 pm

just finished installing Ultimate Edition 2.2 and I'm extremely happy with it. I'm not new to the Linux world but for the longest time I've had problem with linux recognising my mp3 players. I currently use an archos 5 120gb Internet media tablet(really fancy touch screen mp3 player that totally pwns the Itouch.) and I'm just wondering if any of you guys know what I'm suppose to do to get it to recognise.

thanks guys

If you can(and haven't yet) change the unit to hard drive instead of active sync....might work.At least that's what I had to do with my unlocked mio.If it does work then your unit will appear as a drive. That way you can transfer files with it.
