Just what are you trying to find? You can use the terminal to find most anything in Linux, with just a few terminal commands, you can find exactly where any file is... there are even commands that will search for specific "words" in these files????Then there is Nautilus... the file browser..."Places" "Home Folder" that has a search function, with a search bar...
Edit :1: Here's another option for you...go to add/remove programs...search for "BEAGLE" install it...it will be placed in "applications" "accessories" you can use it from there, or right click it and put it on your desktop, or task bar

Hi Mazal.
Here is A tip for you with GUI option:

Alternatively, there's always sudo aptitude, which will bring you into aptitude's nice "gui." Then if you press / you can search for something. Pressing n will search again.
