I've been using Ubuntu for a while now, and just migrated over to Ultimate Edition 2.2 64bit. Great Distro, well done.

But when i enable Desktop Cube in CompizConfig Settings Manager, i cannot seem to uncheck both the Skydome and the Animate Skydome checkbox under the Appearance Tab. As soon as I click it the Tick comes back again. And i'm stuck with Skydome. Which is kinda annoying when it appears half way off the screen when I enable Cube Reflection and Deformation.

Just for reference i'm running an 8800gt, 8GB RAM, Q6600, ASUS P5N-E SLI mobo. And i have installed the drivers (NVIDIA 180)

Thank you for your time,

and keep up the good work with Ultimate, its Awesome!

Hello danmobil.

Have you tried removing "CompizConfig Settings Manager" and doing a reinstall? If not, I would suggest doing so!! Sometimes just doing a simple removal tens to do the trick. If your wondering where to get "CompizConfig Settings Manager" you can go to System>Administration>Synaptic Package Manager, after the application is loaded, go to quick search and type "Synaptic Package Manager" when it comes up, right click on it on select "mark for installation" then apply the changes so that the installation can run. Restart your machine when your done & try again!!
