Here's where the problem stems. If we open libcogl-dev, in the control file we find the false dependency of libgles-dev written on line 7. Now first I thought I could do this simply fix that line and rebuild using dpkg -b. Nope! Refused me on that one! So I got real dirty and simply copy/pasted libgles2-mesa-dev and renamed it to libles2-dev! Presto, worked like a charm! Guess you have to get down and dirty with these Ubuntu's at points!
For those that are new to buiding, when you see the reference "but is not going to be installed" do the dpkg -i *.deb with the file referenced or try to install by "apt-get" it may just be that you are missing a file that is supposed to be in the repo you have in your list, but for some unknown reason goes unnoticed by "apt-get"
Am totally dumbfounded by this whole experience as things you would expect to be installed, do not get installed and other things missing in repos! As far as the name selected for this build, comes from a newer "TV show". Do not watch a lot of TV, but some shows simply have that mystery and awe and leaves one trying to figure it out! From my posts, you can see, I am definitely one of those people that enjoy mysteries and trying to figure them out!
I was also fortunate to find a great picture from the "Ravenswood TV Show" which is now used in place of noise-texture.png in Gnome-shell theme. Am still working out the kinks for this shell theme for Gnome 3.10, so will not be completed for a day or two! When it is, rest assured I will put it up on Gnome-look! The picture has perfect placement! I was really happy on the choice as not all pictures will co-ordinate perfectly for login! So far nothing real major anymore on this upcoming system which is quite potent! Am getting a bit carried away with programs sometimes, but I love having swiss army knives for my systems! Of course everyone knows that as if I did not, I would have never ever used Ultimate!!!!
