I can't believe that Ubuntu lucid is still being developed by several ppas. I was shocked that I could install linux kernel 3.5 and gcc 4.7. But I will admit I am very grateful it seems I am not the only one who doesn't like the new desktop environments( unity,gnome, and even mate and cinammon). I really like the old gnome where it was desktop and not a touch screen desktop. smiles never have worked for me , I guess I have too much security in firefox for it to work.
