Lifer for sure

I have to say, I've been running Ulitmate since 2.0 and it keeps getting sweeter.....

I just bought my first new laptop, well, ever (my first one was a 4yr old model off ebay) and it came with win7. don't get me wrong, it's not the ugliest or least usable OS out there, but I wasn't as impressed as that french chick on the commercial was. I guess I'll have to keep it on a small partition to use the scanner on my lexmark pos until I can afford a more linux compatible one but thats all it'll be used for. just put 2.7 on the new lappy and WOW!!! for some stupid reason I stopped at 2.3 because I somehow thought that ultimate would just keep getting bloated and slower but I was friggin wrong! 2.7 blows 2.3 clear out of the water. even on my old laptop, which had a tough time with the eye candy aspects (had to keep most disabled :( ), seems to run snappier. if they shouldn't have before, windows is going to have to pay super close attention to this humble site just to keep up with the cutting edge. which IMO is definitely Ultimate edition.

What jagged^peak says is so true....

Microsoft will have to keep a close eye on this site....and i bet they are, (hi bill,i love my bios emulator :lol: )
because this os is powerfull enough to overtake the windows seat by far..



okay,some people do want a computer for gaming,but most of those are hitting the consoles.
Even though windows at the moment supports graphics better,people now are discovering linux more and linux will discover people with os like Ultimate Edition..


I personaly think windows 7 is about as far as they can go..they took the pi.. with vista and people know it !

The time is surely coming for open source...and Ultimate Edition is very capable of flying the Ultimate Edition flag instead of the 4 colours..... <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> <BREW> :D
