He is the best one since Jimmy Carter(my favourite). It is going to take more than smarts to fix things, however. The good thing is that people will listen to Obama because he is a nice guy. It's about time the president wasn't a war mogering asshole bully. His first visit is Canada which is a good start. Mind you our pm is an asshole but he probably won't be there very much longer, anyway. I believe that Obama will have the ability to motivate people to better themselves which will be a huge step. I even emailed his office last month to promote Linux and offered any assistance through this forum. I know he is keen on science and technology which is a big step up from Bush who was a good brick or two short of a load.
