New Mission begins: Fix Gnome Desktop Looks

Now, I am not talking about Flashback/Fallback. No I am talking about the regular Gnome desktop. Remember the ole song from group Rush, called "2112"? At the end of the song it ends with "Attention all Planets of the Solar Federation, We have assumed control!" Well, since the start of Gnome 3 the bottom bar has been under Gnome's control. We can fiddle diddle all we like with settings and fact remains, is generic black with bright white text. I mean, I see that on boot, must I see that on a nice looking desktop too???? I say, time has come to get control and change it. I am going to do my best to get this changed so others can also do whatever they want to do with it.
Yes, I have once again jumped on the high horse of mine to battle the main enemy and that is white on black. I still feel those colors solely belong to the past, way back when there were no computers and only newspapers. This is a computer people, not some lame typewriter. I am appalled with this day in age were graphics cards are larger than my current ram chips and seeing some old garbage like this. Face it, these computers can do the most sophisticated things with graphics and to hold them to something so barbaric, isn't that uncalled for?
Of course you know current shell theme is going to be Cyan based, right? Mmm, just sends shivers down my spine that beautiful color and all the highs and lows can do and retain such beauty. Is not that I hate Black or White, just believe there are more appropriate ways to deal with those colors instead of pitting them together all the time and making things look so darn cheap. Every black and white theme I see these days could have been created by a 6 year old, since where is there any challenge??? Do you ever see any of my themes being replicated/reproduced??? Reason is not that it looks awful, reason is how difficult it is to keep up with all the changes. To be honest, it nails me all the time. Sure not perfect and nowhere near it, but least I do my best to get that alternative look. I know, I can not be the only person on this earth that is bored sick of 1995 coloring. Bring on 2015, I am ready for it. Age is never going to make me stop longing for change.
I want my colors to sing on the desktop, but I also want everyone else's to do the same. I know others may want some other color down for those messages in the message tray, so will start working on it. Right now, message tray itself matches rest of the theme pretty well. Is easy enough to do. Other, not sure if will happen so easily, so thank goodness, I have a system in vbox and gnome boxes to experiment with. The idea of not booting to the desktop is not appealing to me at all. Been there with shell themes and is no fun. Of course have the flash drive to fix things, but is simpler to use virtual and go from there. Any way am always hoping for some agreement on things as to help others obtain exactly what we all want on our desktops. All advice welcome. Will be back with improvements soon for Gnome 3.14
