(unsolved) installed "cpuburn" from synaptic. Where it at?

Postby brjoon1021 » Wed Feb 04, 2009 3:00 pm

I want to test an OC, but I can't find it after I installed it. It is not in a gnome menu that I can find. command line did not open it up with either "cpuburn" or "cpu burn".

Open up your /usr/bin directory and see if the binary is there. If not try /usr/sbin.

I looked in /usr/bin usr/sbin. I did not see it. Synaptic makes it sound like it is a collection of apps. That does not help much but it suggests that it was more than one thing...

It may have a different name. Try googling the name and see what you get. i.e. type cpuburn linux and see what you get. Totem is called Movie Player in Ubuntu, for example.
