Tom Tom and Kensington bluetooth usb micro adapter

Postby ixnod » Tue Dec 23, 2008 9:40 pm

Sometime after Christmas, I am going to be playing with the Tom Tom XL 330.S model personal navigation device. and also the kensington bluetooth usb micro adapter.

Well after configuring around a bit, Here are what I have learned:

Verizon is a money making fool they got their stuff locked down and out like nobody's business.
That being said, verizon's ability to play nice with other phones, including their own is dismal at best. prolly going to switch to another provider in a few months when contract is up. going to try and searchfor a more linux friendly alternative. ( Any sugested phone and provider combo would be appreciated)

Tom Tom: been too busy cracking at blutooth to play with it in linux. :(
