Sorry, I learned just enough Spanish to flirt with the lady's and that doesn't translate well to technical things.
I would have used Babelfish but the results are laughable, So someone else will have to translate

I presume you installed your drivers with Envyng, if not, install them with Envyng before going further.
The resolution change isn't permanent due to permissions.
The way I get around the permission issue:
In a terminal type
Code: Select all
sudo nvidia-xconfig

Select Xserver display configuration
Set your resolution and hit apply
if you like it, hit Keep this setting
then select Save to X configuration file
when you set your resolution this way it will save your changes to xorg.conf because you opened nvidia-xconfig as root.
1st Box: Ultimate Edition 2.0 x64/ 1.8 x64

3rd Box: Stable Media box Ultimate Edition 1.8 x64 with XBMC

Thanks for trying to help Leadfingers, but he reported a couple of posts back that the resolution thing is solved already, and so is the repo problem for now.
