So what server does everyone play on in WOW?.
I had stopped playing to work on college. I'm going for Computer Information Systems, with the hope to get a Systems Analysis job.

That and is anyone free or willing to tutor a newbie on c or c++ programing ? I have skype, and an more that willing to setup another I.M. for lessons.

Last issue can anyone get ventrilo to work on ubuntu ?

Thanks :D

I'm a few days off from checking this post, but if you still havn't gotten vent working right i'd love to help to the best of my ability. I have had it running at one time. There's also good guides on wine's site, as i'm sure you already know and have been referred. And there's probably more to say but i'm really dizzy from a lack of sleep and an abundance of coffee :!:

OK I just checked the world of warcraft forms about linux users. From what I have seen some linux users may have been banned  . As many of of you know add-ons are widely used in the game, and blizzard has a program running to spot them. This program is called "warden". In the wow forms part of the banning is because of a add-on called auctioneer, but many believe that an operating system could produce a false positive for bot-ing or hacking. I didn't see any ubuntu uses in the forms from what I have looked on, but I did see other linux users many thought they got banned for playing on linux. Others claim linux has nothing to do with it, but mostly in the forms what I saw were alot of not happy people. The opposite of what you'll find from theemanh's and the Ultimate Edition team's work :P ! To see what I saw in the warcraft forms just type in linux in the search box.

Any one have any thoughts on the matter :?:

I would imagine people are banned by their ip address, not by what operating system they use. If people are being banned because of their use of Linux we will just ban WOW!!!
p.s. What is wrong with the Browns this year? They did so well last year. :?:
