kde 4.1

Help & support for Ultimate Edition 1.9

kde 4.1

Postby bluey » Sat Aug 23, 2008 3:47 am

Have ultimate 1.9 -64bit. Installed kde4 package which gives most of kde4.1. Wow! it smokes. Combined with compiz fusion it almost gives me a nose bleed just playing with it. I prefer kde as my DE but still require some of the functionality of kde3.x.
So with all my usual apps installed and working, I reckon I almost (probably) have the ULTIMATE distro. So if I want gnome/kde3.5x/kde4.1 I just have to logout/in and have the best of all worlds.
