Hi,

this post (see link at bottom) tells us how to update to Kernel 3.6 and has the instructions, one thing I noticed, if you boot into a low graphics screen, Blackwolf has also supplied instructions for a fix for Nvidia card owners, my question is, what about ATI or Intel graphic chips.

I posted here because it said don't post in the "How-To" section.

An install of a newer kernel with newer modules are directly linked to device drivers. If you want to install a GPU Driver you should get the one from your manufacture (ATI) and follow ryanvade's how to http://www.ultimateeditionoz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=370&t=4466&p=33669&hilit=How+to+install+ATI+drivers#p33646 and you should be all set...

Hi Micro,

thanks for your response, I don't have a problem myself but I thought that a newbie might and that is why I asked my question, if they don't have an Nvidia card, they might well be totally confused as to what to do as there are no instructions for ATI cards should the problem with low graphics res appear.
