Ultimate Edition Forum

I have a webcam, which works fine. I even have the Google Voice installed. My ? is, on the Google homepage where you enter in your search, it has a microphone icon. I have had this work sometimes, and other times it doesn't. I never figured out what settings I have to go to to enable this. How do I make this work? Upon failure to hear speech, it offers microphone settings, but foes nothing when I click on it. I will clarify that the sometimes that I did get it to work were on different distros. Thanks. I am currently running 3.5 64 bit and have upgraded to the latest backports of Kde.
