Installing: If I already have an encryped /home ?

Hey guys. I've been running linux for a while and I'm impressed with the responsiveness of Ultimate Edition. Impressive ! I'd like to istall it.
My current partition scheme:
sda1 /old windoze loader
sda2/ empty ~100 GB future location for Ultimate.
sda3/ xubuntu 10.04
sda4/ encrypted /home

Can the installer detect /home and ask for the password? I've read elsewhere about backing up /home and encrypting it after the install, but that would probably re-write /home. If the installer doesn't find the encrypted /home, should I create a home folder within the OS partition (sda2) and change fstab after?

Easiest and safest scenario would probably be to decrypt /home, install, then encrypt again. Few links may be able to help.
As of right now there is no automated way to detect an encrypted home and preserve it by ubiquity if i recall correctly.
