Lexmark Printer Driver Installation Issue
Posted: Sat May 05, 2012 9:59 amI tried to install the Lexmark Printer driver but got the error message attached in the screen grab. I have installed this driver on an KUBUNTU installation before with no issue.
I downloaded the file and extracted it, I then renamed the resultant file for ease of use and ran the script using sudo ./lx.sh
I got the error you can see in the image.
As I said, what I did I have done before but on KUBUNTU and I had no problems installing the files. I tried the Printer Setup Wizard and though it recognised my WIFI Lexmark Prospect Pro205 printer it only installed generic drivers which do not seem to work.
Please help if you can.
