Hello Everyone

I am trying to set up printing to an hp laserjet printer hooked up to my wireless modem/router. How do I set this up in Ultimate 3.2? In windows you would go to add printers and choose local, then add a tcp/icp port and enter the ip address. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I too have a wireless printer. In my case I have to install or at least I think I have to install the deb a Epson NX330 got the deb from epsons website.

I suggest a browse her to see if your printer is detected:
http://localhost:631

click adding printers and classes then click add printer, this will also scan the network for your printer.

Most ppl do not know cups has a local http driven web interface for configuring your printer.

Wow. Thanks guys. That was interesting. Using the cups was very easy. A lot different than using windows. Thats what I get for thinking "inside the box." Thanks for your help. :D

By the way one glitch I have noticed is I tried to change the default operating system using the gui startup manager and it would not work. It remained the same no mater what I did. I actually had to edit the boot file to change the default. Just something to look at. Thanks.
