How do I uninstall a program in EU 3.0?

I've got a program that was launched to be workable. I've since circumvented that program so that it is rendered not operable (it was replaced by another method).

EU still looks for that program in start-up. I can see it when the text is revealed during cold boot-up. In red letters it says: "Failed." So, I thought I'd try to get it out of there.

The program is "Firestarter."

Go to Synaptic Package Manager and UN-install it from there.
