I've read about disabling it by adding a 0 somewhere but not exactly sure where the 0 goes. here is what my fstab looks like:
- Code: Select all
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'blkid -o value -s UUID' to print the universally unique identifier
# for a device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name
# devices that works even if disks are added and removed. See fstab(5).
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc nodev,noexec,nosuid 0 0
# / was on /dev/sda3 during installation
UUID=3019db64-2bf2-41ef-961d-710f38364927 / ext2 errors=remount-ro 0 1
# swap was on /dev/sda5 during installation
UUID=29c86341-c029-4216-9633-49b133f38d85 none swap sw 0 0
And my rcS looks like this:
- Code: Select all
#
# /etc/default/rcS
#
# Default settings for the scripts in /etc/rcS.d/
#
# For information about these variables see the rcS(5) manual page.
#
# This file belongs to the "initscripts" package.
TMPTIME=0
SULOGIN=no
DELAYLOGIN=no
UTC=no
VERBOSE=no
FSCKFIX=no
which the last line is already set to no.
aside from getting the fsck to stop on every boot is there a way I can copy what it's doing so I can post it to get the issue fixed if there is one?
Thank you
