youtube/cursor problem

Postby buckie33 » Mon Feb 15, 2010 6:18 pm

Hi, just got Linux the other day,
so I just have a few questions

1) I wanted to change my cursor so I went to systems - Preferences - cursor selection, but the problem is when I hit install theme nothing seems to work.

2) I managed to install flash and got youtube working, but I cant seem to pause or select a area on the video to watch.

Any help would be great,

thanks!

Hi buckie33,
For point 1, try System > Preferences > Appearance.
Click on theme tab and click Customize (not install)
Then click on Pointer tab and choose which one you would like.

Cheers.

Can you let us know which browser you are using and also are you using a 32bit or 64bit 'Linux' system?
Is it Ultimate Edition that you are using and if so, which release?

Cheers.

My cursor jumps around at random and it's very distracting having to constantly correct words in the wrong place. Is there any way to turn off the touchpad? My only solution so far has been to tape heavy cardboard over it.
