NEWBIE, 1.9 BATTERY ISSUES

Postby Deuce » Tue Sep 30, 2008 12:22 am

Well I am a new to the linux community, 1 whole month. I have managed to replace Windows Xp on my Del dimension 9100 with Ultimate Edition 1.9. Ubuntu 8.4 on my eee pc, and my brand new Acer 5420 was removed from the box and installed a partition with Ultimate Edition 1.9 and I rarely go back to Vista now that I know how to do my school work on Ultimate Edition. My only issue is that my battery doesn't last as long in Ultimate Edition as it does with Vista. Vista gives me an option to slow my cpu down and mange my battery life. If anyone has any suggestions I am all ears.
