ok thats helped me out lots, ive got on more problem that has resulted tho.
I managed to find what im missing. i had to install the manager manually using the comman :
'sudo apt-get install compiz* emerald compiz-fusion-plugins-main compizconfig-settings-manager compiz-fusion-plugins*'
however the termanal has fired this back at me when it tried to install :
adfero@harvie-desktop:~$ sudo apt-get install compiz* emerald compiz-fusion-plugins-main compizconfig-settings-manager compiz-fusion-plugins*
