Is it suggested I do it manually or is there another way that I could change my resolution settings? Thanks for your help!
Couple different ways:
Try using the Change Resolution tool found in the System>>Preferences>>Change Resolution
You could also just go in and change it in your xorg.conf file.
- Code: Select all
sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf
When your in there find your resolution settings and change them to something like 1024x768 and click save. See the screenshot for an example:
Hope this helps.
