If I'm using the nVidia Settings panel:
do I need the default panel?

Don't know yet if I'll hide it or not. Getting where my memory isn't as good as it use to be and I'd forget what I done with it
Thanks again!

But 100% my fault, tried to get framebuffer graphics of 1680 X1050 (does not happen w/o breakage at least right now) 1280 X 1024 is as high as it goes as far as widescreen, I learned the hardway, but can now help others when they bork their system It is pretty, but no x11, I now know how to have the best of both worlds. I wish my screen went up to 1600 X 1200 now that is supported. I am not talking the Gui I am talking startup. No I am not going to explain how to do it, I don't wanna volunteer my services
