Eureka,hip hip hooray,three times hooray,finally I've got my f***en microsoft vx-1000 webcam working in Ultimate Edition.
Here's the trick ladies and gentlemen:from this site http://linuxtv.org/hg/~jfrancois/gspca/ get the bz2 latest driver from above,extract it and then in the directory go to file>open in terminal,type make,and then sudo make install.Unplugg your webcam,reboot,plugg back the webcam and voila':

Is there a way to play around with the colors settings so it doesn't look redish like yours?

I took that pic late in the night and in front of me there's a red curtain on the room window,and I guess it reflected the light from the bulbs.In the day light it is much better.

And btw the bedroom's walls are painted in pink colour.
