Screen Resolution Correction
Posted: Mon Mar 24, 2014 9:54 pmI'm having issues with the screen resolution settings available for the laptop I'm using. I know for a fact that it can support up to 1280x1024 but for some reason I can ony get a max resolution of 1280x800.
I saw over the last couple of days a post (don't remember where) in my reading someone had stated that when grub starts get a command line and type in some command.
Unfortunately with all the changes I've made I think I lost bookmark and I can't remember what the command was. I've done several searches and just can't seem to find that posting again.
This command was supposed to recognize the screen capabilities of the HW and make the resolutions available to Linix.
Can anyone help with this?
