Cups does not install proprely [Solved]

Postby jacques » Wed Jan 22, 2014 12:56 pm

I just install the 3.8 Ultimate Edition, it looks great. But there a few problems.
First, the cups sever doesn't run.
The cups related installed packages are:
i A cups-bsd - Common UNIX Printing System(TheeMahn) - commande
i cups-client - Common UNIX Printing System(TheeMahn) - programm
i cups-common - Système d'impression commun pour les systè
i cups-pk-helper - PolicyKit helper to configure cups with fi
i libcups2 - Common UNIX Printing System(TheeMahn) - biblioth
i libcupsfilters1 - OpenPrinting CUPS Filters - Shared library
i libcupsimage2 - Common UNIX Printing System(TheeMahn) - biblioth
i A python-cups - points d'entrée Python pour CUPS
i python-cupshelpers - Modules Python pour la configuration d'imp

An i few other commands:

jacques@neuchatel:~$ ps ax | grep -i cups
9413 pts/11 S+ 0:00 grep --color=auto -i cups
jacques@neuchatel:~$ lpc status
jacques@neuchatel:~$ lpq
lpq: Unable to connect to server.

What is the package which should provide the server for the BSD variant of cups ?
