(Solved) no sound after mute taken off ?

hello i have just installed 3.8 and i muted the sound,one day later i took the mute off to watch a video but i have got no sound now,any ideas what to do please?

Hi
I have had the same problem on another dist, there the problem was in Pulseaudio

Open
Code: Select all
pavucontrol
(I don't know if you have it installed, else install it)
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install pavucontrol
and find in there where the audio is disabled.
