Am to much of a flop at it right now! Going to take some time on this! Sure would love to see an answer for that type of mistake I made originally???? Second time around sure did it right, but what about when that mistake is done, there just seems to be no way to recuperate from it! From just compiling that kernel it took up 16gigs of space!!!! That is very frightening when you are sitting there after 4 hours and the low space warning comes up! Have absolutely no idea what to clear out? Also if you do at that point, will the 4 hours of compiling to deb be all for nothing? Sure I know when all is done to make clean and boom is back to normal, but if you forget is there a way back? So far looks like there isn't! Guess no one is as forgetful as I am and always remembers to use make clean! Going to take some time to get all this right and would hate to make a distro that would be a total disaster area! Is great having this Ubuntu builder as to understand some points a little clearer. Have to get those points down great before I would attempt to make my own!!! Still is awesome to get such a complement PC!!!! Well am back to the gcc mess I made! Am hoping third time is the charm on that! Then maybe that kernel will finally compile and install correctly in the ISO! Will see! So far is great practice for me and hope to see it all eventually work in the next week! Once again, thanks everyone for all the help!!! Personally think most of you are either Professors or close to it and should be!!!! Great to be around such intelligence, absolutely love it!!!!
