Why is it the dumbest browser in the world.. I went to http://www.txu.com to pay my bill.. The stupid browser wants me to either save the dam thing or open it up with something else... I have to log into windows just to pay it.. Pretty sad if a browser doesn't recognize it as a web page..

This could be so many things. I used to hate Firefox too, but it's like..hate the player(HTML5), not the game. For the record, if you are paying bills online its actually more secure to just use your live distro. It's less secure to put your money in an envelope, write your SSN on it, attach it it to a brick, and toss it in the general direction of who you are trying to pay. However, that's all the money you will lose, so it's more insecure to use Windows. I had the most trouble with Chrome and Midori. Firefox was the quickest.

Well as far as browsers go, i use Opera on all of my portable devices, mobile phone, netbook and tablets. There is nothing faster. But for a desktop/notebook, and a full on browser, I use Iceweasel. It's pretty much firefox without the branding but faster and pages render with a quickness. Not to mention managed by Debian, and we all know what comes from Debian. Everything and Anything worth a damn. 8-)
